"Don’t be fooled by Brett’s young looks, shooting’s in his blood and he’s been perfecting his trade from a very early age. Today he’s a leading UK Clay Shooter having represented Cheshire and England in various clay shooting disciplines at the highest level. The National Governing Body for
Clay Shooting in the UK is the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association, more commonly known as ‘The CPSA’. Brett is a fully qualified CPSA Shooting Instructor and Safety Officer, so professionally accredited by a World recognised organisation to provide professional shooting instruction, in fact everything from the safe handing of shotguns to shooting the toughest clay targets and the highest quarry. We’re extremely pleased to have Brett help and develop our upcoming Clay Shooters and are excited with regards to the future of our sport in Cheshire."

" The role of the Cheshire CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) is to promote clay shooting in Cheshire and to organise the County’s clay shooting competitions across the various clay shooting disciplines such as Skeet, Sporting and Trap shooting etc.
Brett Davies has been an active and very successful clay shooter in our county. He’s successfully represented Cheshire on a number of occasions over the years and we are very pleased to be associated with Brett, especially now he wishes to pass on his knowledge and skills of our sport as a CPSA qualified Shooting Instructor and Safety Officer.
I would, without hesitation, recommend Brett for all your clay shooting requirements."

" I met Brett Davies in September 2015, when I was looking for a clay shooting vest with a recoil pad. I had been shooting only once and I loved it but it hurt and I was scared of the gun.
He was so helpful and after a while in the shop I decided to book a lesson with him as I wanted to learn all the safety aspects of shooting in the hopes that my confidence holding a shot gun would improve.
It was the best 1/2 hour lesson I have ever had as in that time I realised 2 things, one it no longer hurt to shoot as I was taught how to mount the gun properly and two in my first lesson he covered all aspects of safety. Having arrived shaking like a jelly I left having booked 3 more lessons.
10 months later, I have my gun licence and own my own gun, I have a lesson with Brett every week and I am shooting skeet, sporting and the low towers, I have attended ladies days which Brett has organised and I am looking forward to my first simulated game shoot with Brett and Sophie in August.
I never imagined I would have come this far in such a short length of time, Brett is an amazing instructor, he has the patience of a saint as I am a slow learner but with his patience and confidence building I have gone from a shaking jelly to a confident shot and I am absolutely addicted, I eat sleep and drink shooting!
If I hadn't met Brett in September 2015 I think I would have given up shooting, now not only is he a fabulous instructor I look at both Brett and Sophie as life long friends too - Thank you guys x"

"As a treat I took my 14-year-old grandson along to North Wales Shooting School. His instructor was Brett Davies. He was extremely professional, knowable and patient.
My grandson came away with a good grounding in gun safety, Brett checked at every stage of the safety instruction that Kaie had taken it on board and that he understood why things had to be done in a certain way. Kaie was thrilled that with Brett careful instruction he hit the majority of the clays.
I thinks Kaie comment sums the session up best, said all in one breath “ that was brill when can I come again how much is a gun”"

"So I was asked to organise a treat for a friend’s special birthday, eleven of us in total, a mixture of clay and game shooters (the latter of whom aren’t big fans of clay shooting as often it’s a bit too competitive), I asked Brett to help out. A couple of emails later and we’re off to a beautiful location in North Wales for the best Simulated Game Shooting ever!
The targets came thick and fast, all shooters loved it, even the Game Shooters forgot they were shooting clay-targets, a few days later Sophie sent us a link to download the photographs she’d taken (84), we were so pleased, we’ve had photo albums printed to commemorate the day! I’ve been shooting for over 25 years would not hesitate to recommend Brett Davies for any kind of clay/game shooting instruction, advice or to organise your special shooting event."

"I have been having lessons here for several months now with Brett Davies, lessons are professional, enjoyable, fun and most of all worth while. Having started off on the training ground Brett has now progressed me on to different areas of the grounds where there are plenty of different shooting disciplines to try, every lesson is a new challenge! "Being new to shotgun sports is both frustrating and a little intimidating. The best thing that happened when I got hooked on sporting clays was taking lessons from Brett Davies.
Brett has got it all as an instructor: expertise, dedication, patience and humour. Don't make the mistake of developing bad shooting habits, that will only slow your progress and cause a lot of unnecessary frustration. Take lessons from my very patient coach Brett Davies."
